  29. Disolve?!  Zip?!?!  Er, did I miss something?  I downloaded a .LNX file from
  30. somewhere (memory like a sieve!) and moved it over to my (t)rusty 128D.  When
  31. I tried to run it a message said to use Lynx on it.  But on further
  32. examination I found that the file wasn't actually compressed, it just had a
  33. 254 byte header containing the message (in BASIC) and the original filename
  34. of the prog.  So I used my Action Replay to force-load the file to $0703 and
  35. then saved from $0801 to the end, using the filename provided, reloaded it
  36. and it ran!  The only compression was what was on the program in the first
  37. place!  Oh, yes the file was totally intact because it was something I had
  38. done and one of the few things I DO remember is my old code!!  (-=

  40. Now, if there is another Lynx that actually packs the file I'll say sorry
  41. in advance, but as far as I see you only really need a monitor and some
  42. knowledge to restore these files...
